The Storey name has been synonymous with quality masonry in the Northwest for 120 years. Kevin Storey is the current owner and co-founder of B&B Tile and Masonry, established in 1990. He works alongside his son Nathan who is a project estimator for B&B, where they serve all of Oregon and Washington. Kevin's father Ken, Uncle Will and Grandfather George ran GKW Masonry, Inc. before that, which was founded in 1950 to serve Southwest Washington. GKW, Inc. continued under the sole direction of Ken from 1966 through 1990 expanding into Northwest Oregon. Before that, George ran his own masonry company in after branching out from the long-running Storey & Sons Masonry that he ran with his brother Norval and father Charles in Vancouver, WA. Charles Storey, Kevin's great-grandfather is the first recorded mason in the family, though it is believed there were many more before him. Charles founded Charles D. Storey Masonry in Boise, Idaho which later developed into Storey and Murphy General Construction and Boise Stone Company which were instrumental in the construction of the Boise State Capitol Building.
